BIOGRAPHY 2015 MALL GALLERIES
I started taking photographs in 2000 after receiving a camera for a Christmas present and joined an evening class through Future Prospects at Huntington School in York to learn how to use it.
Keith Meadley a professional photographer based in Skeldergate, York was an inspirational tutor and all the early photographs are due to his relaxed and confidence building tuition.
The enthusiastic members of the group formed a photographic society called “Blackdog Whitewall”

About thirteen years ago Cheshire Homes and YAC charities asked to use my images for Christmas cards and calendars for fundraising and things progressed from there.
Recently producing work for the Archbishop of York and Christmas card images for the Mansion House restoration appeal.

In addition to supplying work for use by charities, I produced my own range of greetings cards for Browns of York and had work produced by Athena and the Norwich Union and cards produced by Impress Publishing, Noel Tatt Greetings Cards and The Joe Cornish Gallery.
Images have been used in The Times, Tatler Travel Guide and featured in Yorkshire Life and one reached the semi final of Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009.
